Please read the following points carefully before continuing:

  • This route is intended for eligible international students who require a study visa for Spain and are planning a stay of more than 90 days.
  • The insured person must not hold a Spanish passport or National ID Card.
  • You must complete the Health Questionnaire truthfully and fully.
  • You must provide official accreditation of the studies to be undertaken in Spain, as well as any other documentation requested for the application.
  • The single premium is paid by bank card and is due upon signature of the policy.
  • Cover begins with payment of the premium and signing of the policy, for the term shown in the applicable policy documentation.
  • This policy cannot be renewed or extended and will terminate automatically on expiry.
  • Healthcare is mainly provided in Spain and should be used through approved providers and centres.

Using healthcare in Spain

This product works through approved healthcare professionals and centres in Spain. Before requesting treatment, students should confirm that the professional or centre is approved for the relevant service.

For services that require prescription or prior authorisation, students must follow the process stated in the policy documentation.

Emergency care is coordinated through the approved emergency system in Spain. The product documentation states that the emergency and urgent care coordination centre operates 24/7 throughout Spain.

If treatment is obtained in another province, any travel expenses involved must be borne by the student.
